Mise en scène is a crucial aspect of storytelling, as it allows filmmakers to convey themes, emotions, and messages effectively. In this assignment, I choose to analyze the movie "Into the Woods." This film, belonging to the fantasy genre, intricately ties together various elements of mise en scène to communicate its central theme to the audience. We will examine how the filmmakers introduce and use mise en scène components to set the tone for the narrative in the film's opening scene.
