Preliminary Exercise 15: Filiming

We have spent our class talks carefully outlining every detail of our 10-second film scenario, and now it's time to make our dreams a reality. We have settled on a thrilling "school fight" scenario in the Drama genre after spending a lot of time to discussing details like the scene's appearance, the tone we want to set, and the noises that would complement the narrative. We are excited to begin filming since we have a well-planned storyboard and everyone in the group is aware of their roles. We're excited to see how all of our ideas will come together on screen as we move from the planning stage to actually creating the video.  We're prepared to capture the dramatic tension and deep emotions of our story in a brief moment of time, equipped with our cameras and prepared performers.

Reflection

Filming our 7-10 second film went much more smoothly than we expected, with plenty of energy and coordination. Despite the short duration of the film, capturing the emotions of a school fight was both difficult and rewarding. Supridingly, our team coordinated quite well once we started recording. Within 10 minutes, it felt like we were all on the same page, carrying out our roles with ease and bringing our planned scene to life. This spontaneous teamwork revealed our preparation's effectiveness as well as our group's togetherness. Watching our collaborative idea develop on camera was really fulfilling, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in achieving creative achievement. Overall, this experience taught us valuable lessons about planning and teamwork, showcasing that even seemingly complex tasks can be tackled smoothly with the right approach and cooperation.
